In this post, I decided to share with you my 5 favorite perfumes. I am addicted to it, I can’t go out of the house without spraying some perfume! It is a habit, as soon as I get out of the shower and get dress some PSHHHHHITTT. This is just how I was raised by my fabulous grandma. Always be clean and smell good! One thing that I hate is people who think that they can spray perfume on themselves when they did not shower! Well, this is kind of disgusting and stinky, think about others who have to walk next to you or sit next to you… by mixing your horrible odor with a perfume, it is not making your smell better but it is making it worse!! It is just like when you add a negative to a positive, it will never win!!
All these perfumes might seem expensive to you but as I am French, it is part of my culture, since I was a teen, I used to buy perfumes. I never stick too long with one, I like to change each season. I have a huge collection of fragrances. I noticed that Sephora in the US has less varieties of fragrances and colognes compared to the ones in France, but that is fine as long as they have my top 5.
For the summer, I like fresh scents whereas in the winter I prefer stronger scents. Here is the list of my top 5:
1. Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle by Dior – MY FRESH SUMMER ADDICTION
The Dior Addict woman is youthful, free spirited, and throwing caution to the wind in the French resort destination of Saint-Tropez. From the beach to the café, she flirts and dances her way through life with an irreverent joie de vivre.
Confident and sweet, she lives life fully and loves intensely. Addict Eau Sensuelle opens with an addictive bouquet of precious flowers. Sparkling rose, vibrant jasmine, lilac, and white musk evoke a natural, floral freshness that is both delicate and radiant.
Style: Confident. Sweet. Intense. – Sephora
2. Ange ou Demon Le Secret by Givenchy – I USED TO WEAR IT A LOT BUT KIND OF TIRED OF IT NOW
Fresh and luminous, the secret of this caressing, fruity floral is its “jasmine tea” theme. The fragrance faithfully reflects its inspiration’s transparency and delicacy. The result is an unmistakable signature, very Givenchy.
Style: Elegance. Sweet. – Sephora
3. PARFUM D’EXTASE by Marchesa – I like it but not as much as #1 and #4
MARCHESA PARFUM D’EXTASE opens with light florals, giving way to a combination of fresh and sensual notes that create complexity and beauty. Iris is the secret to the fragrance’s richness, capturing the delicate essence of its flower petals and the dark sensuality of its precious roots. Freesia, young violet leaves, night blooming jasmine, ambrox, and musks complete the sublime composition of this intoxicating elixir.
Style: Feminine. Empowered. Intoxicating. – Sephora
4. Lady Million by Paco Rabanne – It is by far the BEST OF THE BEST
Vibrant and sensual, Lady Million is like a voluptuous nectar of flowers. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange and a hint of raspberry reveals the fragrance’s first breath. Smooth and bright, a burst of neroli follows. Then the lethal weapon: heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness then reveals itself, bewitching and demanding all attention. Joining with sambac jasmine and underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal—yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying notes of honey with an addictive and supremely tempting sweetness. Amber endnotes become all enveloping, floating around like a ray of light on a diamond.
Style: Seductive. Bright. Luxurious. – Sephora
5. for her Eau de Parfum by Narciso Rodriguez – It was my WINTER fragrance until I found Lady Million
Introducing a new fragrance of seduction and femininity – a warm, enveloping way to wear Narciso Rodriguez on the skin. Musc is at the heart of For Her Eau de Parfum. The fragrant harmony of the musc expressed itself through three pulsations; pink floral, soft amber, and voluptuous woods. It develops gently, slowly rounding out into the warm tones, dusted in a soft, velvety sensuality.
Style: Seductive. Feminine. Velvety. – Sephora
